Les Nuits d’été (The Summer Nights) is a nomadic festival taking place every year during the first two weeks of august, around l’Avant-parys Savoyard (in Savoie) for then days. It features numerous shows (mostly concerts) and is known for its line up’s eclectism and artistical quality. You will be able to listen to classical music, contemporary music, but will also find theater, circus, poetry around the stunning lake Aiguebelette.
Each day, spectators can go to three events, in different villages and places, at various times (shows take place mainly between 11am and 8pm but also sometimes at dawn of late in the night). You might find yourself listening to Mozart in a goatfarm, contemporary music on a village place, jazz on the lake’s bank, a theater production in the forest… Anything could happen !
