bio

I’m a sound engineer and musician working as a live sound engineer, sound recorder & mixer and as a sound designer for theatre productions. I perform music mainly as a guitarist and singer, but also as a composer.

I studied music and sound techniques between the university of Gustave Eiffel, near Paris, and the university of Newcastle-upon-Tyne (in Northumberland, UK), and then as part of the first class of the Musical Production Masters degree, partnership between Gustave Eiffel University and the SAE Institute (in Aubervilliers, near Paris) learning from Patrick Thévenot, Pierre Jacquot, Philippe Labroue, Januibe Tejera, Martin Laliberté.

My early professional encounters led me to work with experimental and improvised musics, and to produce records made in both studios as welle as non dedicated spaces. I also worked as a film post-producer and composed music for films. I then started working on theatre productions as a sound designer and to diversify the musics in which I get involved. as an FOH engineer or recording and mixing engineer. Furthermore, I work and participate in the organisation of festivals along with other various localy based projects in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in the french Alps, where I’ve been living for a few years.

This versatility and the various ways in which I practise sound are key to my relationship with sound. Today, I carry on learning and expanding my practice as I meet and collaborate with artists and sound engineers.

On this website you can find out about a number of artists, bands, ensembles, collectives, productions, theatre companies and festivals with which I’ve worked as well as my personal projects.
