Why do we laugh ? How do we laugh ? Can we laugh at evrything ? Can’t we laugh at anything anymore ? Where do the tears that come out at the end of the giggles come from ? Why do humans wet themself when someone accidently lets one rip? What are the mecanims through which laughing unites or divides a society ?
Five comedians raise these questions on a stage where humour seems to be going through a crisis. They play, experiment and dive back into more intimate stories. They are surprised by our comical heritage, laugh about it. Their laugh gets clouded, echoing and falling into the abyss : we laugh at out own laughs and our own mockery. And we try, if possible, to do to humour, what humour does to seriousness.
