With Orogenèse (orogenesis is the process of mountain-building), Benjamin Groëtzinger lays a poetic, delicate and humourous path that lies form childhood memories (in the Tarentaise region) to today’s mountain’s troubling reality. Orogenèse is a journey into our mountainous inner selves, cadenced by guitarist Vincent Duchosal’s compositions and improvisations which draw soundscapes with jazz and rock influence.
Orogenèse has several forms, theatrical, musical, radiophonic and will continue to be developed in the mountains and beyond.
