Los Hermanos Pouyé offer a dive into argentinian music through original compositions and traditionnal repertoire. Their musical environment holds typical sounds of this genre to which is added the polyphony of the vocals.
The band explores the diversity of traditionnal rythms of the Río de la Plata (milonga, tango, candombe) as well as those from northern Argentina (chacarera et zamba), also involving further rythms such as cumbia or venezuelian tonada.
Between tradition and modernity, the band offers contemporary compositions inspired by these traditionnal folk rythms.
