FAKE is a performance where the audience, wearing headsets, freely roams around the space and, at the same time, enters musical atmosphere composed on the spot. The theatre piece by Henrik Ibsen, Peer Gunt, freely adapted here, is the main thread of this performance. You can choose you path, your pace and the attention you pay to this moment, oscillating between the made up and the real thing. The eletronic sounds will tranport you into an astonishing sound experiment, breaking away from the classical limits of a show.
FAKE is a non-binary show which adapts to where it is performed. Indoor and/or outdoor, daytime or nighttime, the audience may be seating or roaming around to follow the storyteller. FAKE mostly happens in public spaces : a participatory adventure hailing passers-by intrigued by the wandering of the audience. They can then join in and begin to follow the performance. Abbi Patrix, the storyteller soaks in the assets, the history and the people of the place he’s in to narrate a new story during each new performance. Musicians, singers, performers are also invited to enrich this headseted stroll. This way, each show is different, event though the thread of the story remains unchanged, while Abbi Patrix interpates the monologues of Ibsen’s famous piece.
