I’m a sound engineer and a musician.
I work as a live sound engineer, sound recorder and mixer, and as a sound designer for theater productions. I perform music mainly as a guitarist and singer, but also as a composer.
I studied music and sound techniques between the university of Paris-Est Marne-la-vallée (UPEM), near Paris, and the university of Newcastle-upon-Tyne (in Northumberland, UK), and then as part of the first class of a Musical Production Masters degree, partnership between the UPEM and the SAE Institute (in Aubervilliers, near Paris) learning from Patrick Thévenot, Pierre Jacquot, Philippe Labroue, Januibe Tejera, Martin Laliberté.
My early profesionnal encounters led me to work with experimental and improvised musics and to produce recordings made in non dedicated spaces, far from the studios. I worked as a film post-producer and composed music for films in China. I then started working on theater productions as a sound designer and to diversify the musics in which in get involved. I also work and participate in the organisation of festivals.
This versatility and the various ways in which I practise sound are capital in my relationship to sound. Today, I carry on learning and expanding my practice as I meet and collaborate with artists and sound engineers.
On this website you can find out about a number of artists, bands, ensembles, collectives, productions, theater companies and festivals with which I’ve worked as well as my personnal projects.
